Talking about Windows Azure Mobile Services at CodeDammit

Today I had the chance to talk about Windows Azure Mobile Services to a Windows Phone Apps Hackathon organized by Microsoft.
Everyone seemed very interested on how easy and simple it is to build a backend infrastructure featuring Structured Data, Business Logic, Authentication, and Push Notifications, for the applications they’ve been developing. To demonstrate these features I’ve used a simple number guessing application I had previously developed for Windows 8. The application used Mobile Services to store player high scores, demonstrated server side scripts for validating the data the app provided, implemented push notifications to notify all subscribed users of new high scores and authenticated users using Twitter.

So as promised I’m attaching the slide deck and source code I’ve used and some resources I think you’ll find useful to build your applications.
