Boot Vista from USB update

After spending a whole weekend trying to make Vista boot from a USB removable hard disk with no results, I found out just today from Mikehall's post that there is a utility that just might do what I wanted.
Too bad I've already decided to move my system to Vista ...

Boot Vista from USB project failed...

I've been using various Wndows Vista versions even before Beta 2, but always on a virtual PCs and not on my production machine (as Microsoft very well suggests). Since beta 2 came out though, I've been reading and hearing how stable this version is, so I had to try it and see for myself. To do that I've decided to use a 40 GB external HDD connected through USB, in order to leave my current windows installation intact.
Unfortunately the whole attempt was unsuccessful since (from what I've found out later by going through the forums and blogs) Windows in general do not support removable storage as an installation location. And although I found a couple of posts claiming that booting a windows OS from USB is possible, the whole procedure is complicated enough to prevent you from following it.
So I've started searching for driver and software compatibility issues to decide if moving would be a good idea.

Any help or comments on issues found much appreciated...

Honey I'm back...

Hello everyone,
It's been a while since my last post but health problems kept me from keeping up with my blog engine. Now I'm back though and hopefully will be bloging regularly.
As you may have already noticed my bloging engine has changed, I took the oportunity of migrating my personal site to revamp my blog as well. I've decided to customize an existing bloging engine as .Text in order to provide a better service to all of you but also reduce the time needed for a blog post.
